In math, we have been working on recognizing, identifying and creating repeating patterns. Students are able to identify the "core" of a pattern. Below are some photos of patterns that the students made in class. Ask your child what their pattern rule is (size, shape, colour), what type of repeating pattern it is (AB, ABC, AAB, ABB) and what the "core" of their pattern is (This is the beginning part of their pattern so they know what attributes to use to repeat).
