Hello 1st Grader!
I am so excited to be your teacher this year. We are going to have so much fun learning and doing some neat stuff! I hope you have had an excellent summer, and I can’t wait to hear all about it! *Please check out the NEWS section of our class website to read some important information about Grade 1. And please check back next week to see a sneak peak of our classroom! Next week, remember: -bring a pair of indoor running shoes to wear in the classroom. Your shoes should be easy to get on and off, as well as safe to wear during gym class. -You do not need to bring any school supplies with you. Our class shares all our pencils, pencil crayons, crayons, markers, scissors and easers. Mrs. Landry’s classroom is always looking for donations, so if your family would like to donate any of those items for us to use, that would be fantastic! If possible each child should bring: 1 box of Kleenex 1 box of large ziplock bags 1 package of plastic spoons or forks A personal set of ear/head phones in a labeled ziplock bag. - Extra clothes. Please pack a large ziplock - labelled with your child's name- with extra shirt/pants/underwear/socks for those possible mishaps at school. -A Water Bottle - Please label your child's water bottle to keep at school. Family Photos: Each homeroom class requests a family picture (4x6) to be used as part of our Family Photo Display. This display will offer your child a sense of home while they are working in our classroom. Would you like to know a little bit more about me?
